Bridging Stories and Change: Autoethnographic Reflections on Anti-DEI Legislation Join three learning-center professionals as they share reflections informed by a collaborative autoethnographic research study. Together, we'll bridge personal narratives and stories amid institutional change in response to signed and adopted anti-DEI legislation. We will engage in an exploration of uncertainties, values, and pathways forward, connecting policy impacts to real-world office experiences.
Empowering Every Learner: CRLA Standards for Underrepresented Student Support This Learning Over Lunch explores how CRLA standards enhance academic support for underrepresented students through campus collaborations. We will highlight partnerships with accommodation services, first-generation programs, high school outreach, and academic support centers such as the Writing and Math Centers. Attendees will learn strategies for cross-campus collaboration and tutor training for underrepresented students.
Student Employees Need to Be Seen – Holistic Management Approaches With the quickly changing landscape of higher education and the country, students are faced with enormous challenges requiring flexibility and resilience. These are reflections on our center’s experiences with fostering a holistic approach to student management with emphasis on cultivating positive mental health and work-life balance.
